G. Edward Malony

age 79 of Haddon Twp. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday March 11, 2008.

Mr. Malony was born in Camden and had been a longtime resident of Audubon before moving to Haddon Twp. Ed had worked in the railroad industry for over 42 years and had been a longtime member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Audubon. He had been a member of the Audubon Parkside Lodge # 218, had volunteered as a little league coach and was an extra-loyal Eagles fan.

Mr. Malony is survived by his loving wife Marilynn (nee Schmidt) Malony. He is the father of Steve (Kathy), Bart (Teri), Robert (Kris) Malony and Linda (Alec) McIver. He is the proud Grandfather of Robert Malony, Lyndsay McIver, Katie, Sean, Beth and Allyssa Malony, Kyle and Jenna McIver. Ed is also survived by his siblings; Doris (Earl) Sims, Jane (Edward) Parvin, Peg (Walter) Hill, Martin (Joan) Malony and Nelson (Allison) Malony.

Relatives and friends are invited to remember and pay tribute to Ed on Friday evening between 7 and 9 pm where Masonic Services will be held at 8 pm at the funeral home and on Saturday morning between 10 and 11 am at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 325 White Horse Pike, Audubon where a Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11 am. Reverend John Anderson Celebrating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the church at the above address.
