Florence E. Parker

On June 26, 2017, (nee Hines) of Glassboro, formerly of Oaklyn., NJ, age 91, went home to be with her Lord. She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin H. Parker, Jr. and loving mother of Lisa B. Moore (David S.) and David C. Parker (Janice). She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Melissa A. Eaton (Gregory), Julie A. Moore, Katie E. Parker, Stephen D. Moore and great grandsons Micah B. Eaton and another one due in September. Mrs. Parker was a devoted follower of Christ, a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oaklyn where she attended for 82 years. She was an elementary school teacher for the Haddon Twp. School District and a dedicated employee of the Clover store in Westmont. She also volunteered at the Glassboro Senior Center. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Parker's memorial service on Saturday, 1:00 PM, at Trinity Christian Chapel, 269 Greentree Rd., Sewell, NJ. Interment will be private as per her whishes. In lieu of flowers her family would appreciate memorial donations be made to In Touch Ministries, P.O. Box 7900, Atlanta, GA 30357-9979.
