Fannie Williams

October 7, 1914 — April 18, 2015

On April 18, 2015 (nee Huff) a long time resident of Camden, NJ, age 100. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo Williams, loving mother of Leola Denson and dear sister of the late Geneva LeVere. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Aurora, LeAndra, Sean, and great grandson Micah. Fannie was born in Athens, GA and moved to Camden at the age of 6. She was an elementary school teacher, for 34 year, in the Camden City Public Schools and was also a volunteer for the Mullica Hill Friends School and C. W. Lewis Middle School. Fannie was always comforting and caring to those in need. She and her sister Geneva, who she is now reunited with, were fixtures at many community churches in Camden. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the 10th Street Baptist Church, 1860 10th St. in Camden. Fannie's Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Mt. Royal, NJ.
