Elizabeth "Sue" Thomas

(nee Herbst) age 74, a longtime resident of Laurel Springs, NJ on July 22, 2013. She is the devoted wife of 57 years to John Thomas Sr. Beloved mother of Deborah (Daniel) Dunleavy, Sandra (Joe) Wiggins, John Jr. (Cheryl) Thomas, and Beth (Chris) Bukowski. Loving grandmother of Alex Dunleavy. Sue is also survived by Rosie, her four-legged companion. She is predeceased by her parents Ferdinand & Elizabeth Herbst. She was a member of New Freedom Bible Church in Berlin, NJ and formerly served as past Worthy Matron of Laurel Springs Chapter #227 O.E.S. Sue was an avid reader and artist who enjoyed gardening, spending time in Ocean City, NJ, and political debates. Friends are invited to gather with her family, Friday, July 26th from 10-11AM at CHRIST COMMUNITY CHURCH, 325 E. Linden Ave Lindenwold, NJ 08021. Service will begin at 11AM. Officiating will be Pastor J. Jeffrey Lyon. Burial will follow at Berlin Cemetery, W. White Horse Pike & Egg Harbor Rd., Berlin, NJ.
