Elizabeth "Betty" K. Black

Betty (nee Brown) of Southampton died at her son's home on October 23, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Black, Jr., she is survived by her son Lloyd III and daughter-in-law Nancy. Betty was born and raised in Oaklyn and was a 1940 graduate of Collingswood HS and1944 graduate of Temple University where her portrait hangs in the university's Athletic Hall of Fame. Betty taught Physical Education, Health and also coached all sports at the Charles E. Ellis School for Girls in Newton Square, PA in the 1960s and ‘70s. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ. Betty's funeral service will be held 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053 would be appreciated.
