Elaine (67) passed away early Sunday morning on May 12, 2013. She was born September 5, 1945 to Clarence and Nina Williams in Houston, Texas. Aunt Florrie taught her ballet during her youth. She was a Graduate from Reagan High School in Austin, Texas, and attended 1 year of business college.

She modeled western wear at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. There she met her sweetheart, Marshall Edward Jackel, Jr., while he was stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base. He proposed 16 hours after meeting Elaine. They were married June 25, 1966, for 37 years. They lived in Blackwood, New Jersey, where they raised their family. Marshall was a pressman for the Philadelphia Inquirer for 39 years. He passed away in July of 2003 and Elaine moved to Lago Vista, Texas until her mother passed away and then she moved to Waller, Texas. Elaine served in the Houston LDS Temple, then relocated to Utah in 2010 to be near her daughter and son-in-law.

Marshall & Elaine spent countless hours at their cabin. They loved to sight-see, travel the U.S. and collect antiques.

She leaves behind her daughter Marlaine (Kevin) Scott, grandchildren Christian, Rachel and Benjamin, Aunt Florrie and Uncle Don Ollenburger. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother Rodney.

The family wishes to thank the staff at PeachTree Place Assisted Living and Hospice of Utah for their loving care and kindness.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 260 Evesham Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 with visitation from 9:30 to 10:30AM prior to the service.
Interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562
