Edward A. Hess

On Sept. 14, 2018, of Cinnaminson, formerly a long time resident of Oaklyn, NJ. Age 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Ada Hess and Marion Hess. Loving father of Edward W. Hess (Linda), Gary M. Hess (Karen) and Dennis C. Hess (Gerry) and step children Craig Milnes (Johanne), David Milnes (Barbara), and James Milnes (Dolores). He was the cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Mr. Hess was a proud Marine Corps veteran of WW II, serving in the South Pacific. He was a former member and Deacon of the Oaklyn Baptist Church and also was a long time manager with the Oaklyn-Bettlewood Little League. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. There will be no evening viewing. Interment to be held Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in Mr. Hess's name be made to the Oaklyn Little League, PO Box 3, Oaklyn, NJ 08107.
