Douglas Richards, age 70, of Mt. Royal, NJ, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023. He is the son of the late Elizabeth (nee Branch) and William Richards, Jr.
Douglas is survived and will be sadly missed by his son Andrew and his daughter-in-law Cherie Richards, and his grandchildren Amanda and Ryan.
Douglas worked as a delivery driver for Danco in Mt. Laurel, NJ for many years, before working as a conductor for Conrail in Philadelphia for 9 years. His greatest enjoyment was when he was spending time with his family, friends & grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the Richards family for a time of viewing on Monday, September 18th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Creran Celebration Etherington and Creran Funeral Homes, 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn, NJ. A prayer service and time of remembrance will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken.
