Donna A. Civa

September 25, 1945 — March 2, 2016

(nee Lindsay) passed away on March 2, 2016, at the age of 70 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Winsted, CT, Donna was the beloved wife to Vincent; mother to Denise (Rich) Currie, Michelle (Mark) Hopkins, and Matthew Civa; sister to Walter (Darlene) Lindsay, Lawrence Lindsay, and Russell (Donna) Lindsay; grandmother to Elizabeth (Charles) Vollmer, Devon Hopkins, Nicholas Currie, Christopher Currie, and Benjamin Currie; and daughter of the late Walter and Shirley Lindsay. Donna was a long-time volunteer at St. Anthony of Padua parish in Cramer Hill whose positions over the years included assisting with Francis House, singing in the choir, Parish Council member, and CCD coordinator. Donna was also a long-time volunteer with Burlington County Special Services as PTA president and education foundation member. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ, on Sunday, March 6 from 7-9 p.m. A visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 2818 River Ave. in Camden, will be held on Monday, March 7 from 10-11 a.m. immediately followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be made to St. Anthony of Padua.
