Donald N Burt

Donald N. Burt, age 66 of Alloway, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

Don was born in Camden and had spent many of his years as a Gloucester neighbor before traveling down the old dirt road, to country living, in Alloway. Don made his career as a well driller and had been a longtime member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 825 in Cherry Hill. Don was a rugged outdoorsman. He filled his days hunting, fishing, traversing the trails on his ATV, and camping. At home, he loved diving into our nation’s war history.

Don is the son of the late Donald M. & his wife Emma S. (nee Bell) and is the brother of; Diane & her husband Jim Ehrmann, Pat & her husband Stephen Mason, Michael & his wife Pat Burt and was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Gosin. Don is also survived and will be sadly missed by his faithful companions “Bubba” & “Hank” and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the Burt family. We’ll be sharing our heartfelt stories on Wednesday evening between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 700 Powell St. Gloucester City.
