Donald Henry Allison

Donald H. Allison, age 83 of Gloucester, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice in Voorhees. 

Mr. Allison was born in Camden and had been a longtime Gloucester neighbor. He relished his walks around Gloucester City. In colder months he was easily spotted by his signature wool cap and padded denim jacket. He was generous too, as he always had a few bucks for locals in need. Don had contributed to the manpower of our great nation upholding the ideals of our American freedoms in the U.S. Army and made his career working for the Camden County Surrogates Office in Camden City.

Mr. Allison is survived by his children Kelly & her husband Rich Callaway, Tracy & her husband Jerry Weldon, and Donald Allison III, his partner Tina & mother Irene. Don is the proud grandfather of; Kayla, Tyler, Brittany, Justin, Peyton, Don, Colby and the late Jerry. He is the brother of and was predeceased by the late William Allison, Francis Allison, and Donna Allison. Mr. Allison is also survived and will be sadly missed by his niece Dana Allison as well as many friends, neighbors and his extended family. 

The time-honored tradition of returning our loved ones to nature and United States Army military honors will be held privately.
