On December 14, 2006 of Oaklyn, NJ age 80 yrs. Beloved husband for 54 yrs. of the
late Alberta G. (nee Giffins); dear mother of Emilie Hus of Audubon and Cynthia Paranto
of Sicklerville; loving grandfather of 6: Mark David Paranto (USAF),
Steven Paranto (USMC), Michael Paranto, Danielle Paranto, Helena Hus, Matthew Hus; great grandfather of Anthony Egnatuk; also survived by a sister Charlotte Thomas Moore (Ed) of FL and nephew Robert Thomas (Kathy).
David was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oaklyn. He also played the organ for many local churches and area Masonic Lodges. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Evans had worked for Packard Press in Cherry Hill. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and a member of Collingswood-Cloud Lodge #101 F&AM.
He enjoyed life to the fullest through music. David could be found playing the organ, working out in the gym or rowing the boat on Lake Garrison.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday evening from 7-9PM at the HENRY FUNERAL HOME, 152 W. Atlantic Ave., Audubon. Masonic Service 8PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday morning 11AM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 1 East Haddon Ave., Oaklyn. Interment Harleigh Cemetery.
