David Nelson Boyer

On December 3, 2018, of Gloucester City, NJ, age 70. He was the beloved husband of the late Joanne (nee Hopkins), loving father of Daniel Monk, Jr. (Jen), Timothy Monk (Eileen), James Monk (Renee), Denise Monk (Mark) and Paula Abate. He is also survived by 16 dear grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and his large extended family. David was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He was an outdoor man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, scuba diving and shooting. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 741 Division St., Gloucester City, NJ. David's funeral service, along with his wife Joanne's, will be held 1:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Gloucester City, NJ.
