Our hearts are broken and left with sorrow as we regretfully announce that Christina Marie Maldonado, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend passed into the loving arms of the Lord on May 20, 2024. Christina was born in Woodbury and spent her formative years in Deptford. She was the love and strength in her family. However, we find solace in knowing that she now rests peacefully.
Christina's journey led her to work as a restaurant manager, where she poured her heart into ensuring her hard work was the best for everyone. Graduating from Deptford High School in the class of 2000 marked the beginning of a path where she touched the lives of many with her radiant personality.
She leaves behind beautiful memories as a respectful individual with a captivating smile that could light up any room. Christina has a unique way of comforting others with hugs that wrap them in warmth and love. Her charming extroverted nature, charisma, and loving demeanor made her the rock that held her family together. To those around her, she was a ray of sunshine that brightened their darkest days.
In her leisure time, Christina found solace at the beach- a place where she could unwind and find peace. Her passions include spending quality moments with her cherished family, indulging in baking delicious treats, getting lost in books, and enjoying a good movie.
Christina is survived by her loving children Alicia, Adam, Arabella, and J'ean Maldonado; her father Joseph Maldonado; and her brother Anthony Maldonado and nephew Anthony Jr. She was predeceased by her mother Maria T. (nee Dougherty) Maldonado. Though she may no longer walk among us physically, Christina's spirit will forever be present in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
In honoring Christina's memory, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives and how she touched each soul with kindness and love. Rest in peace, dear Christina Marie Maldonado- your light will continue to shine brightly through all those you have guided with your unwavering love and warmth.
