Charles Barry Shute

On February 15, 2017, of Asheboro, NC, formerly of Williamstown and Magnolia, NJ, age 74 years. He is the beloved husband of 43 years of Linda P. (nee Tupper), loving father of Keith S. and Kevin B. Shute and dear brother of William P. Shute. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren Addison and Everett, his loving nieces Lori (Shute) Walkhoff and Leslie (Shute) Brannigan and his daughter-in-law Emily (Estes) Shute. Mr. Shute was a veteran of the Army National Guard, having served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and a keen baseball card collector, yet he had no greater passion than that for spending time with his family. All will remember the happiness he brought to any occasion and the infectious smile with which he warmed a room. Mr. Shute was a member of the Episcopal church, loved the Lord our God and now walks gracefully with those who went before him to His kingdom, especially his parents Charles W. ("Bill") and Rosemary. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ. Barry's Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations in honor of Barry be made to the Ash-Rand Rescue Squad and EMS, Inc. at 805 South Cox St., Asheboro NC 27203.
