Charles B. Orchard

Charles B. Orchard age 86 of Audubon Park, NJ passed away on Sunday October 21, 2012 at Virtua Hospital, Berlin. Husband of the late Lillian (nee Naylor), Charles is survived by his children: Charles "Chuck" (Joelyn) Orchard of CA, Pat (Bill) Chapman of Waterford, John (Sarah) Orchard of Erial; grandfather of 7, great grandfather of 14. He is predeceased by his 2 sisters: Mildred Duffy & Irene Zane.

Born in Blenheim, NJ Charles had been a longtime resident of Audubon Park. A veteran of WWII, he served in the US Navy on the USS Kasaan Bay. During that time he received the Pacific Theater Ribbon, the American Theater Ribbon & Victory Medal. Prior to his retirement, Charles was employed by McAndrews & Forbes as a pipefitter.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday evening from 6-8PM at the HENRY FUNERAL HOME, 152 W Atlantic Ave, Audubon. A Service of Remembrance will begin at 7:30PM followed by Military Honors.
