Charles "Chuck" W. Cahilly

April 20, 2015, of Haddon Township, NJ, age 73. His memory is carried on by his wife, Mary E. (nee Mollenkopf), his beloved children Sherry Thomas, Mary Bowman, Charles W. Cahilly III, Jennifer Menow (Troy), the late Deborah Ann Cahilly and dear brother of Carol Nordberg (Craig), Nancy, Jim and Wayne (Audrey) Cahilly. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren Jim, John, Brittany, Sean, Justin, Kyle, Kalie, Tim, and 9 great grandchildren. Chuck was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps. and a retired Veteran of the Army National Guard, having served our country for 32 years including Combat service in Vietnam. He was a decorated, 27 year, Veteran Police Officer and Detective with the Camden Police Department, He was a member of the Marine Corps League, Mt. Holly Masonic Lodge #14, Sons of Union Veterans, Fraternal Order of Police, NRA, and was a Civil & Revolutionary War reenactor. Chuck was an amateur Historian specifically American Military History, and enjoyed fishing and genealogy. The World is a better place for had having him in it. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ. Chuck's Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Camden Co. Veteran's Cemetery, at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
