Catharine B. Thomasson

On July 9, 2017, (nee Hopkins) of Woodbury, NJ. Age 80 years. Cass was predeceased by her beloved parents John and Edna Hopkins. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold H. Thomasson , loving mother of Harold H. Thomasson Jr. (Carol) and Colleen Chiu and cherished grandmother of Madison, Sarah and Zachary. Cass was born in Camden and raised in Gloucester City. She was a 1954 Grad of Gloucester Catholic HS and loved getting together with her sorority sisters and fellow alumni. She was a long time secretary at St. Mary's Church, and also enjoyed being a member of the Gloucester City and West Deptford Sr. Citizens Clubs. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am. Interment to be held at the convenience of the Family. There will be no evening viewing. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in Cass's name be made to either the St. Mary's Needy Children's Fund, P. O. Box 87, Gloucester City, NJ 08030, the Food Bank Of South Jersey, 1501 John Tipton Blvd., Pennsauken, NJ 08109 or the Cathedral Kitchen 1514 Federal Street, Camden, NJ 08105
