Betty Jane Celia (nee Marini) of Magnolia, NJ, on March 11, 2017. Aged 69 years.
Betty Jane was an Elementary School Teacher in the Audubon School District for 34 years, enriching the lives of children from 1971 to 2005. Prior to her teaching career, she lived (and taught) in Japan for 2 years. She loved to travel and always shared her home with a faithful canine "rescue" companion.
Known as "Bet" or "BJ," she was the sister of Donna (Bob) Nicholas and Carol Lynne (Tom) Gotthold, and to Nancy Carol (Phil) Puche, Patti (Dick) Semler, Cindy Smith, April Foster,
and Linda (Jimmy) Rusin.
Her "favoritests" nieces and nephews include Jennifer (Bruce) Schaeffer, Jeremy (Tamara) Nicholas, Joel Nicholas (deceased), Thomas (Kate) Gotthold, Sarah (Justin) Rohleder, Jane-Marie Gotthold, Christopher Puche, Katie Puche, Stephen Puche, Joseph Stanzilis, Cara (Brandon) Wilcox, Lisa Stanzilis, Zachary Smith, Amanda Smith, and several great-nieces and nephews.
"She never met a stranger" and will be greatly missed by all.
"Gathering" will commence at 10 AM with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 AM on
April 1, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home, 152 W. Atlantic Ave., Audubon, NJ 08106
