On December 3, 2014 age 93, beloved wife of the late Howard G. Brown. Mother of Catherine (Harold) Ruff of Moorestown and Michael (Nancy) Brown of Audubon. 4 grandchildren Stacy (Rob) Harvey, Todd (Colleen) Ruff, Erik Brown, Amanda Brown; 2 great Grandchildren Aidan & Cailin Ruff; and sister of the late Joseph Heitzmann. Betty is also survived by her dear friend Barbara Ruff; and best friends Frances Schultz and Mary Jane Dacciaio.
Betty was born in Gloucester City, NJ. She and her husband Howard were one of the original residents of Audubon Park since 1944. Prior to her retirement, Betty had worked for the former Bell Telephone nka Verizon in their installation department. She was a member of the Pioneers (Verizon/Bell) and member of AFS (American Field Service) for exchange students. She also volunteered her time with the Red Cross and had served on the Audubon Park Board of Education. But most of all, Betty was very proud of her loving family and all their accomplishments.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and pay their respects on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014 from 9-11AM at the HENRY FUNERAL HOME,152 W Atlantic Ave., Audubon, NJ 08106. Funeral service will follow at 11AM with Rev. Phillip Stowell officiating. Burial will take place at Asbury Methodist Cemetery, Cinnaminson.
