Betty J. Ballinger

Age 84 of Haddon Heights, NJ passed away peacefully on May 9, 2013. Mrs. Ballinger is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Ralph Ballinger. Betty is the loving mother of Ronald Shute of Haddon Heights, Richard Shute of Barrington, Ralph "Buck" Ballinger (Donna) of Bellmawr, Rhonda Ludke of Surprise, AZ and Rennell Ballinger of Haddon Heights. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, a nephew Ken Evans of Haddon Heights, 2 nieces and her faithful four-legged companions Dolly & Suzi.

Betty attended Audubon High School. She had been employed by Graebel Movers and Bell Telephone. Prior to her retirement, she was the owner of Sweet & Precious Candy & Gifts in Haddon Heights. Betty was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Athene Chapter #201, Haddon Heights Ambulance Corp., Haddon Heights Ladies Fire Aux. and was also a Den Mother. She loved to dance, she loved her Phillies and enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra. Betty was the most generous, loving person you ever met and will be sadly missed by everyone.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday morning from 9-11AM. Eastern Star services will take place at 10:30AM followed by Funeral Services at 11AM with Rev. Dr. Henry Jansma officiating. Interment will be held privately at the request of the family.
