For many years, she made her mark in banking. Her professional journey flourished at Haddon Savings Bank in Haddon Heights, where she dedicated herself to serving others, embodying a work ethic that mirrored her generosity. Bette approached her work with pride and commitment, with integrity and reliability that defined her professional life. Bette's legacy is not merely one of career accomplishments but of the heart; she carried herself with sincerity and depth, sharing wisdom that resonated with those fortunate enough to share their days with her.

Her family was her world, and she loved them unconditionally. Bette spoke from the heart and approached life with a kind of faith that was truly unwavering. She often sought to ease the burdens of those around her, reflecting her selflessness and her desire to not be a burden on anyone. Her love was a guiding light, and those fortunate enough to have embraced her warmth know that she is irreplaceable.

In addition to her devotion to family, Bette had a variety of interests that infused her days with joy. One of her greatest joys was cheering on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at all of their sporting events. She went to all of them, rarely missing an event. She had a special fondness for turtles and enjoyed in shopping and people-watching. A longtime and dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, she was always ready to cheer on her team, sharing her enthusiasm with those around her.

Bette was a devoted mother to Shelley and her husband Ken Kline, and Gina Bowne, who stood by her as a loving daughter-in-law. Her heart overflowed for her grandchildren, Bradley and his wife Brianna, Morgan and her husband Giorgio, William and his wife Megan, Detective Brent and his wife Crystal Bowne, and her granddaughter AO2 (AW/SW) Gianna Bowne, and her fiancé Arath. Bette's joy further blossomed with pride in her great-grandchildren: Madalyn, Gavin, Billy, Mason, Lauren, and Arath Jr. who brought an extra sparkle to her already vibrant life.

Bette is survived by her beloved brother, Robert Cocker, who shared in many of her life’s moments.
