Benjamin "Benzo" DeMarco, 73, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024. Ben was a husband, father, grandfather, and a man of many interests who left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Eileen DeMarco; his three children, Dannett, Dominic, and Dane; and his five grandchildren, Anthony, Hailey, Nikolas, Dominic, and Indigo. Ben was an amazing artist, collector of non “jeeeeyuuunk”, chef, and teacher of life lessons. He had a passion for the small joys: taking the kids from school to go crabbing on the bay, day trips to Wildwood, Mummer’s parades, and early mornings at the WIP Wing Bowl. He was an honorary member at the private clubs, collector of money, Eagles fan, and a long-time listener to Howard Eskin. Though never a caller. A fan of the “High Life,” Benzo enjoyed the Champagne of Beers and the camaraderie that came with it. He was never afraid to tell someone to hit the bricks. He was unapologetically his authentic self all the time and lived life his way. His life will be remembered simply and fondly by all who knew him. Details for a memorial gathering will be shared at a later date.
