On December 29, 2014, Barbara Ann (Bobbie) Griffith (Mortimer), peacefully went to her Lord. Barbara passed at home surrounded by her family. Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Henry Holmes Griffith. Barbara is the beloved daughter of LeRoy and Myra Mortimer (Binns). She was raised in Gloucester City, New Jersey. After marrying in 1956, Henry and Barbara moved their family to Mantua, New Jersey in 1960 where she lived for the rest of her life. Barbara was a huge NASCAR fan, Phillies fan and she was an avid bowler. On numerous occasions she bowled a 300 game. She loved nature and animals. Barbara enjoyed camping, fishing and sitting by the camp fire.
Left with our treasured memories are her daughter Eva Mae Harper (Garry) of Chesapeake, Virginia, her daughter Diane Groce of Quinton, New Jersey, her son, Chuck (Marie) of West Deptford, New Jersey and her daughter Henrietta Smith of Middletown, Pennsylvania. Her beloved grandchildren; Henry D. Archut of Mantua, New Jersey, Brian Lukasiewicz (Jessica) of Swedesboro, New Jersey, Jeffrey Lukasiewicz of Quinton, New Jersey, Caroline Guy (Peter) of Monkton, Maryland, Sara Lukasiewicz (Tom Scheeper) of West Deptford, New Jersey, Allison Smith of Middletown, Pennsylvania and Judy Smith of Middletown, Pennsylvania. Barbara was also blessed with 8 great grandchildren; Emily Guy, Evelyn Smith, Ben Guy, Austin Lukasiewicz; Angel Zito, Aubrey Scheeper, Alanna Lukasieiwicz and Logan Guy. Viewing will be held on January 3, 2015 at 10:00 am at Etherington-Creran Funeral Home, 700 Powell Street, Gloucester City, New Jersey with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Gloucester City, New Jersey.
