Alvin K. Nickerson
May 2, 1926 — September 28, 2013
Age 87 of Oaklyn, NJ passed away on Saturday September 28, 2013. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years Jean (nee McKinley) Nickerson. Alvin is survived by his son Edward Nickerson (Donna) and daughter Susan Markowski (James); 3 grandchildren Stephanie, Josh and Christopher; also 4 great grandchildren.
Alvin was a Navy Veteran and served during WWII. He was a sheet metal construction worker by
trade and member of Philadelphia Local #19.
At the request of the family, graveside services will be held privately with military honors at Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
