Gene A. LaTorre (DeCarlo), age 45 of Runnemede, passed away suddenly on Thursday February 4th, 2010 at Cooper University Hospital, Camden.
He is survived by his loving mother Nancy Croge (nee Bailey), his aunt Marie Agostinelli and his uncles Rocco, Alfonse and Anthony LaTorre, Jr. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his numerous cousins and friends including Ellisha Peatross and his faithful companion Snickers. Gene was predeceased by his grandparents Anthony & Josephina (nee Zarelli) LaTorre, Sr., his aunt Mary and his uncle Eugene LaTorre.
Gene was a proud, 25 year, member of the Cement Masons union Locals 699 in Camden and 592 in Philadelphia. He could usually be found surrounded by his friends and family enjoying a laugh, a beer and his companions who will miss him dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the LaTorre family to remember and pay tribute to Gene on Thursday morning between 9:30 am and 11 am at St. Teresa Church 13 E. Evesham Rd., Runnemede where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am. Fr. Gormley Presiding. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
